Explore a Freshman’s Dorm Room and Building at NYU

Exploring the Newest NYU Dorm: The John A. Paulson Center

Living in the newest NYU dorm, the John A. Paulson Center, has been an incredible experience for me as a freshman. From the spacious triple studio room to the modern amenities like a gym, café, and study spaces, this dorm has exceeded my expectations.

Sharing a room with two other girls has been a breeze, especially with our own bathroom connected to it. The closet space is divided into three sections, giving each of us our own storage space. We even purchased a mini fridge during the first week of school, which has been a lifesaver for storing leftovers and snacks.

One of the highlights of living in this dorm is the Crave Café located on the sixth floor. With a diverse menu offering banh mi sandwiches, vegan falafel sandwiches, and more, it has become one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat on campus.

The building also boasts great quiet study spaces and a well-equipped gym. The quiet study room on the third floor is my go-to spot for studying, while the gym on the first floor has everything I need for a good workout.

Overall, the John A. Paulson Center at NYU has everything I could want in a college dorm. With all these amenities at my fingertips, I sometimes find it hard to leave the building. But when I do, I have the vibrant city of New York right outside my doorstep. Living in this dorm has truly been a dream come true for me as a freshman at NYU.
